My Daughter’s Many Story Books

We have numerous other articles written on this very subject. Each one tackles a different aspect of story books. I feel very blessed that my little girl loves to hear stories, but we have to do something about her story books. I don’t know how she does it, but each and every day she finds a way to knock them all over the place. I am trying to teach her to keep some of her room picked up on her own, and the books are one thing that I know she can handle. Knowing and doing are two different things apparently, because each day I go in and they are all over the floor and I have to stop myself from picking up her mess.

I gave her a book case for all of her story books. I should mention that she has at least fifty or more books. She got some of these as gifts, but my mom went a little nuts and signed her up for three different book clubs. That is a lot of books. Though we have read most of them, we simply cant get to nearly all of them. I gave her the bookcase so that she could better see her story books and we could find the ones that we had not read in a while. That lasted for about a day.

As we take a closer look, keep in mind all of the useful and important information that we have learned so far. Instead of standing the books on end like most do on a book case, my daughter has stacked them flat on top of each other. Not only that, the pile of story books is way to high. She took out one of the shelves. Since I try to let her do things her own way, I let this go. However, the story books get too top heavy and they fall over. It has happened every single time. I help her pick them up sometimes, but she likes to do it on her own most of the time. I guess she will learn eventually.

In the mean time, I am always looking for new story books for her. Though she has many of them, some of them have to go as they are too young for her. She is ready for more complex stories, and I hope that this will show her how great reading can be. I have been looking around online for some great places to find story books just for my daughter. There are some out there that have book recommendations for age groups, so if you are looking for them like I am, this might be the way to go. Try searching for a particular keyword from the title of this article about story books, on your search engine and you are sure to find a wealth of knowledge.

Personalized Childrens Books With Pictures

One of the things that I bought a lot of when my daughter was young was Personalized Children’s Books. I got many as gifts, but I bought some on my own as well. Though I know children love stories, my little girl was more interested in the pictures most of the time. She often wanted to look through the ones that had pictures rather than hear stories anyway, and I think that might have been true for any baby her age. When she turned three, things changes, but for the first three years, the Personalized Childrens Books with pictures were what she preferred.

Her favorites were ones that had pictures of babies, and now that she is five, she is still fascinated by any baby. Perhaps children are drawn to faces that are much like their own, but I don’t know. Her other favorite picture books were ones that were full of animals. She just liked to look at them at first, but after a while she would ask questions about each different animal she saw in picture books, and talking about them became better than reading what someone else might have added to the book.

Children can benefit from making their own picture books. They don’t have to be complicated, but they can be if you want them to be. You could use paper joined together or a sturdy scrapbook from a craft store. The pictures can be anything the child is interest in. This could be pictures of friends, family or herself.

Though not all Personalized Childrens Books are made to last forever, some might just make it. If the book is big enough they could add more to it each year. It might not seem like a big deal, but they will get a kick out of it when they get older. They can look back through the picture books to see what they liked when they were younger and how that changed through the years. The picture books can also be great keepsakes for mom and dad as well. They could be put away along with the baby book and the photo albums to help remember the early years of life.
