My Daughter’s Many Story Books

We have numerous other articles written on this very subject. Each one tackles a different aspect of story books. I feel very blessed that my little girl loves to hear stories, but we have to do something about her story books. I don’t know how she does it, but each and every day she finds a way to knock them all over the place. I am trying to teach her to keep some of her room picked up on her own, and the books are one thing that I know she can handle. Knowing and doing are two different things apparently, because each day I go in and they are all over the floor and I have to stop myself from picking up her mess.

I gave her a book case for all of her story books. I should mention that she has at least fifty or more books. She got some of these as gifts, but my mom went a little nuts and signed her up for three different book clubs. That is a lot of books. Though we have read most of them, we simply cant get to nearly all of them. I gave her the bookcase so that she could better see her story books and we could find the ones that we had not read in a while. That lasted for about a day.

As we take a closer look, keep in mind all of the useful and important information that we have learned so far. Instead of standing the books on end like most do on a book case, my daughter has stacked them flat on top of each other. Not only that, the pile of story books is way to high. She took out one of the shelves. Since I try to let her do things her own way, I let this go. However, the story books get too top heavy and they fall over. It has happened every single time. I help her pick them up sometimes, but she likes to do it on her own most of the time. I guess she will learn eventually.

In the mean time, I am always looking for new story books for her. Though she has many of them, some of them have to go as they are too young for her. She is ready for more complex stories, and I hope that this will show her how great reading can be. I have been looking around online for some great places to find story books just for my daughter. There are some out there that have book recommendations for age groups, so if you are looking for them like I am, this might be the way to go. Try searching for a particular keyword from the title of this article about story books, on your search engine and you are sure to find a wealth of knowledge.

Are Fantasy Books For Geeks

Most people I know have very mixed feelings on fantasy novels. On the one hand, fantasy children’s books are a big part of almost everyone’s childhood. We love stories of heroes, dragons, valiant quests, evil wizards and all that. Kids devour fantasy books and always have, delighting in the simplicity of the stories and the magical beauty of the settings.

Nonetheless, it will always be a good world for those of us who write fantasy books. Writing fantasy fiction, in fact, is one of the easiest ways to make money off of the poorly developed tastes of young readers. You see, fancy story books are mostly about coming out into the world. It can be hard to deal with issues of love and romance, adult responsibilities, and growing up in general in a realistic setting. The great thing about fantasy books is that they let younger readers and teenagers remove these issues one level from their daily lives. Stuff that is hard to literally talk about becomes easily accessible once it is disguised under a cloak of metaphor. This is why fantasy books will always sell. In every generation, people face essentially the same struggles.

On the other hand, liking fantasy books as an adult is definitely not cool. Even teenagers who read fantasy fiction are often mocked for it. Although things have changed recently with the Lord of the Rings coming back into popularity, fantasy book reading is still mostly an activity for geeks once you get past a certain age. And it is no wonder either. I am a huge fan of fantasy sci fi books, and even I have to admit the fact that most of them are complete junk. They are poorly written, often by factories that don’t even involve the original author of the series anymore. They come out by the dozens, each telling essentially the same story over and over again. Although there is definitely some wheat among the chaff, it is often lost in the flurry of junk that gets published.

In the end, this is the saving grace of fantasy books. They are not, and will never be, high literature, but they do serve a purpose. They help people see something epic and important in their lives, elevating their own daily struggles to world shaking events. Learning to take your life seriously is one of the most important things about growing up. A fantasy book can help people do just that.
